What is Closo?

Searching & Browsing
First, if you would like to see local results, we suggest that you provide Closo with your city name. You can do this, by clicking on Set Home location on the top of the screen. Or you can also set your home location by using the green Closo Local box. |
You can provide us with a zipcode (postal code), or your city name and if there are multiple results, Closo will ask you to pick the right city from a list. Then, you can set this as your home location, and all searches you do on Closo will show local results first. |
You can browse by using the category index on the main page and find items that fall into the category that you're interested in.
You can also use the category dropdown that appears on top of the search results pages to navigate from one subcategory to another.
You can search a specific term using the search box located below the blue bar on top of all Closo pages. |

If you have been browsing within a category or in search results, and if you are unable to locate an item that you have seen, you can type a specific keyword and find the ad within the search results.
For example, if you are looking at digital cameras, and you couldn't locate Nikon 5400, then you can use the search box, to narrow down the results and find Nikon 5400, within the category that you're currently looking at .
If after searching withing the category, if now, you'd like to search for someting in another category, or all categories, you can do so by selecting the "all categories" checkbox next to the search box. |
On Closo, less is more as in any search engine. If you provide a specific keyword, there may not be any items listed with those keywords. For example if you search for A75-S226 laptop, you will have less results than searching for A75 alone. |
Sorting the search results on Closo is easy, just use the sort dropdown and select how you want the information to be sorted : by listing end date, listing start date, price, category and alphabetical.
You don't like prices in British pounds? Well, Closo has a built-in currency converter which shows you the price of the item in 5 currencies : USD (American Dollar), GBP (British Pounds), EUR (European Common Currency), AUD (Australian Dollars), CAD (Canadian Dollars). Just use the dropdown on the top right hand corner and the prices will magically get updated for you. |
Regional Searches are also possible on Closo.
To see what products are listed from your region, simply set your home region, then do a general search, or you can also select a region from our region index page. And you will see results in that city. |
